Collaborators::Health Authorities

A public organization that plans, designs, manages, and funds the delivery health programs in their jurisdiction.<br/>This includes Federal (Health Canada); Provincial (Ex. Nova Scotia Health Authority); Local (Ex. British Columbia regional health authorities); and First Nations (ex. FNHA, Sioux Lookout authority) bodies.<br/>Note:<br/>CIHI is engaging and consulting with the provincial and territorial health authorities across the country and welcome all of them to participate in the open review to ensure that the Pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework is implementable at a pan-Canadian level.<br/>The gender, sex, and sexual orientation (GSSO) standards in the pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework were developed in collaboration with the British Columbia Ministry of Health based on their existing GSSO Health Information Standard and Guidance.<br/>
